Born and raised in Niles, Michigan, Shawn and his wife have proudly called Ypsilanti home since 2002. He began his professional journey in the culinary world, working his way up from line cook to chef in several high-end restaurants, including Weber’s locally.

Skilled with his hands and drawn to craftsmanship, Shawn eventually transitioned from the kitchen to the construction site, pursuing a rewarding career in home building. On occasion, he still brings his culinary talents to work—cooking breakfast or lunch for the team at job sites and company meetings.

As Production Manager and Project Manager, Shawn holds himself, his team, and his subcontractors to the highest standards. His strong attention to detail and deep understanding of the building process consistently result in projects that exceed client expectations. While not always the most talkative person on site, his focus, precision, and commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget speak volumes.

Outside of work, Shawn enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting, watching his sons play soccer, and volunteering at his church.
