John Redente is a middle-aged man with short dark hair and a long, gray beard wearing a blue and red plaid shirt, smiling, standing against a stone wall background.

John Redente

Owner

John had his first construction job three decades ago when he was in high school before he served in the U.S. Army. His time in uniform instilled a deep appreciation for hard work, servant leadership, and team cohesion. Serving as a Drill Sergeant proved to be one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of his life, and shaped the way he approaches mentoring and leadership today.

Early in his career, John gained hands-on experience in framing, remodeling, historic preservation, and masonry before launching his own remodeling company. His passion for craftsmanship—combined with curiosity for innovative building methods and respect for strong fundamentals—eventually led him on a path to ownership at Veritas, where he continues to cultivate a culture rooted in quality, teamwork, and integrity.

Outside of work, John and his wife, Amy, share their faith, love of soccer, a joy for learning and family adventures with their nine children. In his free time, John can often be found in his shop working on custom projects, milling lumber, or refurbishing vintage hand tools—usually with the music turned up and him singing along (though he insists it sounds better when no one’s listening).
