Bart Yeary

Carpenter

Bart is a carpenter at Veritas, where his work spans interior trim, exterior siding, and a variety of general carpentry projects and repairs. While he enjoys all aspects of the trade, his favorite work involves building stairs — a task that combines precision, creativity, and craftsmanship.

Whether he’s installing cabinet hardware, building window jambs, or running PVC pipe, Bart approaches every project with care and attention to detail.

This is Bart’s second chapter in carpentry, having rejoined the trade with Veritas in 2024. His earlier career included framing and general carpentry before he pursued other paths — earning a college degree, working as a programmer, teaching math, and spending time as a stay-at-home homeschooling dad. Along the way, he honed his building skills through years of maintaining and restoring his own old houses.

Bart values the learning environment at Veritas, where every project offers new challenges and opportunities to grow. He enjoys collaborating with teammates to solve problems, create mock-ups, and refine techniques. Recently, he’s been perfecting the art of miter joints in wide material — a process that continues to evolve with each iteration.
